Dance of the muses

Spring is approaching, media campaigns with it ...
Fashion, skincare, make-up, perfume ... Brown and blond heads, that would be easily recognized, show their profiles for several leading brands, from all categories.
Here is an outline of these electric associations, for explosive ads, already or soon headlining.

Madonna for Dolce & Gabbana.
Madonna has stood in front of the Steven Klein camera for 2010 spring-summer Dolce & Gabbana campaign. Dressed up in a true Italian Mamma, she was photographed between linen and dishes, in full housekeeping. Kitchen has never been presented in such a sensual way...

Megan Fox and Cristiano Ronaldo for Giorgio Armani.
Here are the official replacements of the Beckhams for the Armani Underwear collection. Actress Megan Fox and footballer Cristiano Ronaldo got undressed for the 2010 spring-summer collection. Apparently, Giorgio Armani knows how to surround himself with  outrageous artists. Moreover, the designer is making Lady Gaga's clothes for her next tour... a promising result!

Marion Cotillard for Dior.
You will say "Nothing unusual there, Marion Cotillard was already Dior's muse for the Lady Noire campaign; quite normal she embodies the Lady Rouge now!" Certainly, but as Lady Rouge, not only has she been photographed by Annie Leibovitz, but she sings with Franz Ferdinand the song "The Eyes of Mars". Enough to wonder, with this campaign and the new
Rob Marshall film, Nine, if Marion Cotillard will convert her career in music!
Julia Roberts for Lancôme.
Lancôme chose Julia Roberts, the time of an eyelid flapping, for its new mascara 'Hypnosis Precious Cells' campaign. A mascara with care properties for the lashes. Between elegance and softness, the actress embodies beautifully the brand.

Vanessa Paradis for Chanel.
Vanessa Paradis sings, for the new Chanel lipstick 'Rouge Coco', these few words "What a day for a daydream ...", under the careful direction of Jean-Baptiste Mondino. Yes, these are indeed the few musical notes originally performed by the Lovin' Spoonful, accompanied by Vanessa's celestial whistles.

Gaspard Ulliel for Chanel.
A French star for an International perfume launch ... it reminds me of the 'Terre d'Hermes' visual, starring Clement Sibony. Except that here, not only will it feature elegant and intense Gaspard Ulliel, but it will be directed by the great Martin Scorsese! What a casting for the next Chanel masculine fragrance, in a New York atmosphere. Indeed, it seems that the director has been caught filming in the middle of Brooklyn. Chronicle of an announced success! But be patient, the launch is planned for September 2010...

Meanwhile, Hermes launches in april its new fragrance, 'Voyage d'Hermes'... but without any muse! A sophisticated rebellion directed by Eric Valli. I just can't wait to see the ad...
