The Bio, the Bad and the Ugly... some shops go to the conquest of nature!

The trend in perfumery likes to be bio! It is true that many cosmetics offer Cosmebio label for some time. From Kibio to Be.O, through Aïny, Câlinesse, Clé des champs, Ekia or Suzanneaux bains... Not to mention bio make-up, proposed by Couleur Caramel. A wide range of materials to be bio-tiful, preaching wellbeing and naturalness.
Now the perfumes are also getting into it. With an effective but not so simple certification, named Ecocert, pointed out by a logo on the packs. A certification where raw materials, manufacturing process and transformation process are involved. What a program! Honore des Pres, Jo Woods Organics, Patyka, Acorelle, Senke ... Brands are multiplying! To make life easier for eco-client, smart shops have decided to gather all these nice brands under one roof. 3 in particular showed their nose and caught my eye.

Divin'India

Oh sweet dreams of exoticism! The photos of a friend who just came back from India give me a sudden desire of elsewhere. Now, I’m dreaming of sarees, spices and sandalwood…

But do we know, in Europe, perfumes from India? I do not speak about Indian-inspired ones, like Guerlain could do with Shalimar, Kenzo with Kenzo Amour Indian Holi or Francis Kurkdjian with Isvaraya from his brand Indult. No, I mean allying a perfume with the universe of an Indian creator. Because designers and Indian fashion grow steadily, and share with us universes of its own.

Flower by Kenzo, or a walk across poppies

Who has not seen lately the new Flower by Kenzo commercial? A light and melodious music, smiles and insouciance… This commercial comes a bit off of what the brand had used us to, by offering us a breath of cheerfulness and optimism. From tender and melancholic poetry, the japanese spirit was little by little transformed into a bucolic universe, where nature becomes urban and melts into a Parisian scenery.

Sweet things to start the new year

Even if the holiday season is already over, winter is here! From chinked champagne glasses  to mountains of chocolate knowingly savoured, it is time now to slip on sweaters and others in order to warmly tackle the New Year! You may still dream of the sound of crackling embers in the fireplace, of the smoothness of a hot chocolate and of the turpentine smell of the Christmas tree. But don’t worry, some houses of perfumery have thought about the nostalgia which could invade us in this new year beginning, and give us some olfactory jewels, filled up with sweetness.
